Crush 40 will lead a global concert tour in late 2026, singer Johnny Gioeli announced in a podcast with reporter Brian Shea on Friday.
Why it matters: The vocalist positioned the tour as one of the most technically ambitious projects of his career, ahead of the 35th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
The details: The tour is scheduled to kick off in December 2026 through 2027, and will feature 63 concerts planned across what Gioeli described as "every major city in the entire world."
- The production will feature advanced visual technology with a reported budget exceeding $2 million USD.
- He has also indicated interest in involving fan community artists to help shape the visual elements of the shows.
"I want to bring these characters [to life] on stage and have an immersive experience for the fans that they've never seen before."
Between the lines: Gioeli suggested that the tour will be his last, but emphasized he is not retiring from music entirely.
What's next: Additional details, including dates and venues, have not been announced as of yet.
