# First look at DC Comics' first collaborative issue with Sonic the Hedgehog

The first details of DC Comics' crossover collaboration with the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise in a mini comic book series was unveiled.

**Why it matters:** The crossover marks a unique moment between the DC and IDW's Sonic universe, which will see the blue blur and company against one of DC's villains, Darkseid.
