# Get ready for a new Sonic x Shadow Generations manga, featuring Chao!

SEGA of America has [announced](https://twitter.com/sonic%5Fhedgehog/status/1844770126190842103?ref=news.tailschannel.com) a new English-language *Sonic x Shadow Generations* tie-in manga; with lines by Misa Shion, colours by Min Ho Kim, and story written by Ian Flynn.

Scheduled for a digital release on Friday 18 October 2024, the manga will feature the Sonic and Shadow Chao venturing on a "special journey."

It will arrive after last month's debut of Corocoro's Shadow the Hedgehog manga for the Japanese audience, with the first issue [now available to read](https://www.corocoro.jp/chapter/28289/viewer?ref=news.tailschannel.com) online without a paywall.
