# New look at PUMA's upcoming Sonic merch collection

German apparel maker PUMA announced new details about their upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog merchandise collection for October 2025, featuring Sonic, Shadow, and Tails.

**Why it matters:** The collection builds on the Sonic's collab-friendly image, and the sustained hype surrounding the recently launched *Sonic Racing CrossWorlds*.

**Zoom in:** The limited-range line-up features new takes on the PUMA Inhale and Inverse sneakers, plus apparel and accessories incorporating *CrossWorlds* graphic cues.

- **Footwear:** The 'Inhale' arrives in Sonic’s signature blue, while the 'Inverse' gets Shadow and Tails-inspired colourways. Each sneaker includes swappable heel tabs, character lace shrouds, and interchangeable formstrips.
- **Apparel:** Designs include a track jacket and pants with red piping, a hoodie and shorts with gold-ring drawstring tips, and a racer shirt with an oversized Sonic graphic.
- **Accessories:** A cap and waist bag feature ring-shaped zipper pulls and co-branding.
- **Tie-ins:** In-game, *CrossWorlds* players can get access to eight PUMA-themed decals, available free to anyone who owns the title.

**What's next:** The collection launches 30 October 2025 through PUMA's online storefront and select physical retailers.
