Paramount's upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 film will be preceded by a Japanese manga prequel for Corocoro Comic, according to archivist Windii on Twitter.

The prequel will be adapted by artist and writer Yuki Imada, known for the Shadow the Hedgehog manga serialization for Sonic x Shadow Generations.

The limited-edition issue will begin circulation on 20 December 2024.
