Paramount's *Sonic the Hedgehog 3* continued its late-stage box office run, adding $1.31 million to a domestic total of $234 million after nine weeks, while its worldwide haul has reached $478 million.

**Why it matters:** With *Sonic 3*'s theatrical window closing, Paramount is looking ahead to their next phase of revenue through digital and home entertainment platforms.

**By the numbers:** Disney's *Mufasa: The Lion King* remained ahead of *Sonic 3* in both domestic and international earnings.

- *Mufasa* grossed $6.28 million domestically, bringing its home total to $242 million. Internationally, Mufasa pulled in $5.8 million across 52 markets, pushing its offshore total to $445 million. That's a worldwide total of $686 million.
- Despite trailing *Mufasa* overall, *Sonic 3* remains strong overseas. The third film added $3 million from 65 offshore markets, bringing its international tally to $243 million.
