SEGA has released v5.3.0 for *Sonic Forces* Mobile, bringing bug fixes, balance adjustments, and new in-game offers.

**Why it matters:** It fine-tunes character abilities, addresses gameplay bugs, and introduces new ways for players to level up their roster.

## Bug fixes

- **Oni Mephiles:** Fixed an issue with the debuff visual of Stalking Onibi remaining on player if hit more than once in quick succession
- **Wrench Rush:** Fixed an issue with some missing incoming attack warnings on some projectiles
- **Valhalla Surge** and **Extreme Gear Sonic**: Fixed an issue with Valhalla Surge & Extreme Gear Sonic being able to "stack" boosts

## Balance changes

- **Valhalla Surge:** Reduced duration and speed of Berserker's Axe
- **Valhalla Surge:** Reduced duration of re-throws of Berserker's Axe
- **Valhalla Surge:** Re-thrown Axes no longer go through obstacles
- **Movie Sonic:** Increased duration of Ring Portal :MovieKnuckles:
- **Movie Tails:** Increased duration and speed of EMP Shield
- **Movie Tails:** Increased speed of Twin-Tail Boost
- **Excalibur Sonic:** Increased attack speed of King's Judgement
- **Detective Vector:** Increased attack speed of Shed Light
- **Jingle Belle Amy:** Increased duration of Gift Trapped
