The Apple Arcade-exclusive *Sonic Racing* app received an update last Tuesday. It adds vehicle customization, a new character variant, and a new community challenge mode.

**Why it matters:** SEGA describes it as the game's largest update to date on Apple Arcade.

## What's new

### Garage system

- Players can now customize vehicles for all base characters by swapping front, rear, and wheel components.
- Car part variants are unlocked through Community Challenge goals.
