# Physical collector’s edition for Sonic x Shadow Generations announced by Limited Run Games

Ahead of the release of *Sonic X Shadow Generations* on 22 October 2024, a [physical collector’s edition](https://limitedrungames.com/collections/sonic-x-shadow-generations?ref=news.tailschannel.com) has been announced by Limited Run Games, with pre-orders for it open from now through 6 October, though the pre-order window is subject to change depending on demand. 

The collector’s edition retails for $249.99 USD and will include the following items:

- A physical copy of the game; a digital code will be sent for the PC version
- A certificate of authenticity
- A commemorative Dreamcast jewel case
- A soundtrack CD
- Three chao figurines
- A statue depicting Shadow and Sonic atop a replica Dreamcast
- An artbook
- A steelbook for the Switch or Blu-ray Disc
- A keychain depicting the shoes of Classic Sonic, Modern Sonic, and Shadow

In addition, the physical collector’s edition will also include the physical pre-order bonuses, including Gerald Robotnik’s journal, a reversible game cover, and the Adventure Legacy skin for Modern Sonic.

Depending on how you decide to order the collector’s edition, the physical game will ship out between 25 October - 8 November 2024, followed by the rest of the items by 31 July 2025\. You can also decide to ship all of the items together when they are ready by 31 July.
