Jakks Pacific's next wave of Sonic the Hedgehog figures will include two long-absent characters in Tikal the Echidna and Sonic the Werehog, according to new retail listings spotted by merch enthusiasts on Tuesday.

**Why it matters:** The two characters have seen limited representation in modern Sonic merchandise, and their inclusion comes just as the toy maker marks the hedgehog's 35th anniversary.
