# Unofficial community-made port brings Sonic Unleashed to PC

Community developers have released an unofficial PC port of the Xbox 360 version of *Sonic Unleashed*, the 2008 platformer.

**Driving the news:** Community programmer and reverse-engineer 'Skyth' led the project, alongside with 16 key contributors.

- Enhancements include support for high resolution and ultrawide displays, higher frame rates, improved performance, and modding capabilities.
- Built using static recompilation, the port supports Windows and Linux.

**The catch:** Players need a legitimate copy of the Xbox 360 version to use the port.
